During the month of October HAARP was very active but mostly in the final testing mode of the antenna/balun coil installations. Each of the several hundred coils must be tuned manually. This results in certain antennas and coils being turned on and the resulting power level seems to go up and down as the coils are manually tuned for optimum performance. As expected, this was monitored, especially during the end of October, with the signal levels rapidly going up and down, sometimes during single pulses and sometimes from pulse to pulse. Also during the last week of testing, October 28, something not heard before from HAARP was a single pure continuous sinewave tone, or "test tone" which was used for final acceptance testing of the newly installed antennas and coils. This continuous test tone was used for two days with regular HAARP pulses interspersed between the test tones.
